What type of personal information is collected?

 

Coronadan defines personal information by the data that can be collected to uniquely identify you or to be able to contact you.

 

In signing up to be an exclusive member of Coronadan, you will be asked your Name or Names, mailing address, phone number, email, credit/debit card information, and the choice of charities you would like to contribute to. The only times we gather this information is when signing up for a new membership, and we do not gather any unnecessary information.

 

Collecting your information is done through our website and will never be collected through emails.

 

User Communication. When sending emails or phone messages to Coronadan, we may retain these messages to improve our customer service.

 

Other Sites. This privacy policy only applies to Coronadan. We cannot enforce our policies on other company sites as they have their own cookies and privacy policies.

The information collected is necessary to provide you with your membership card, to protect on your membership account, and for verification purposes. We do not ask for any information that is not necessary for these purposes.

All the information you provide for your membership will be used to process your membership and to be able to deliver your membership card.

 

Verifying legitimacy. Coronadan may use the information that provided to verify you as a member on the phone or in person. This helps us verify the identity of who we are talking with and to prevent fraudulent actions with the membership card. You will expect this process when receiving customer service or a dispute arises with misuse of a membership card. Verifying a member will only be done through a phone conversation or in person. We will NEVER ask any private information through emails or electronic writing.

 

Coronadan Giveaways. We may use some of your personal information for contests, promotions, or customer service surveys.

 

Emails. The email address you provide for order processing will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, reminders for renewing your membership, and customer services surveys to better serve you. Your email address will also be used as an account name to better locate your information incase we need to verify your legitimacy.

 

Note: If at any time you choose to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribed instructions at the bottom of each email. How do we protect your information?
