Whichever type of issue you are concerned with, these TC govern your use of Coronadan service, including all features and functionalities, user interfaces, and all content associated there within. By using, visiting, or browsing Coronadan service, you accept and agree to be bound by the TC. If you do not agree with the TC, we advise you to stop or do not use Coronadan services, including our website and/or mobile devices.

We reserve the right to change the TC at any point and it is the users’ responsibility to keep up to date with the TC.

Website & Mobile Devices

The Website and Mobile Devices is created to provide quick references to Coronadan Members deals available for that day, week or on monthly basis. All deals on the website or mobile devices are strictly for members. Businesses will not accept any print outs, scanned, photo cuts or cutouts from the website, mobile devices, or printed materials. The only way you can benefit from these deals is by signing up and becoming a member and presenting your membership card to the participating business.  Browsing or downloading is free and is provided by Coronadan. You don’t have to be a member to look or download the apps associated with being a member; it is only the participation in the deals that is restricted to members.

Memberships

Coronadan is a membership that is a simple representation of people who love Coronado and feel a sense of pride living, working and playing on the island. Accordingly, Coronadan membership is designed exclusively for people who live, work and play in Coronado. Coronadan reserves the right to define the parameters of exclusivity.

The only method to become a member is to register through the website. If you are concerned with privacy issues on the website, please read our privacy policy where it clearly states that we take all necessary precautions in protecting and receiving your information. By signing up on the site, you are expressly agreeing that Coronadan can charge the cost of the membership to the given credit/debit card. Payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods.

The membership card can only be used by the person whose name is on the card. You may be asked to show a second form of identification by businesses at their discretion.

By purchasing a Coronadan membership card you agree that either Coronadan or its associates are not liable for any damages direct or indirect that may arise from joining Coronadan.

The cost of the membership is $25.00 American dollars a year (including shipping and handling) and will be valid by the defined terms of “Length of Membership.” Coronadan is partnered with several charitable foundations and will distribute $5 of the $25 to your choice of the listed charitable foundations. If you cannot decide on a charitable foundation, there is an option to request Coronadan to decide where to place the $5. Making this choice gives the right to Coronadan to place the $5 at it’s own discretion to the listed charitable foundations.

After payment has been accepted, we will send out your membership card as soon as possible. Processing may take up to 1-2 business days depending on the volume on that day and please allow 2-3 business days for mail services. If you have not received your member’s card in the mail after the 7^th business day, then please contact us and we will send a new card.

Redeeming your deal is simple. Just show your membership card to the business on the day of the deal. If a business has multiple unique deals going, the business may disclose that one deal may over-ride another deal. It is up to the business to decide on how they want to handle the deal and to let Coronadan members know.

Length of Membership – The length of the membership runs from the month you started to the next year on the month you signed up, i.e. – 9/11 to 9/12. Whether you signed up the first of the month or in the middle of the month, your membership is good through that full month.

Loss of card - The membership card is the only way to verify and receive the deals offered. If you loose your card, you can contact: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or fill out the form on the website and Coronadan will contact you back to verify that you are a member and will charge $5.00 on your credit/debit card to issue a new card. If your card is falling apart, disincarnating, melting or the information on the card is becoming unrecognizable with your information, you can go to our membership section on the website and fill out the form. We will then contact you to verify you are the member, ask if you can send the faulty card back to us and we will issue a new card. Paying for loss of card helps prevent any fraudulent or misuse of Coronadan services. But if the card is faulty, we are responsible for flaws of the card and will send a new card at no cost.

Misuse or Fraudulent acts – We have taken many steps to ensure that someone else cannot use your member card. However if someone were to fake a card or steal a card, it is out of our control for those actions taken place. Businesses, who are a part of Coronadan, have the right to check or ask for identification to make sure you are the person on the member card. They are also given the right, if they feel that the card is being misused or there is a fraudulent act taken place, to remove the card from the possession of the person trying to pass off as the member. If this does happen, and you feel that you have been wronged, please notify This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and Coronadan will then take the necessary steps in resolving this issue. We want you to be aware that it is not in the best interest for businesses to act callously because they could potentially lose the right to be part of Coronadan and/or lose a customer. This will be dealt with seriously by all parties involved.

Right of Refusal  - Some businesses declare in a visible location, that they reserve the right to refuse service anyone. This is their right and is not affected by Coronadan memberships.

Denial of a Deal – We take very seriously any occasion when a business does not honor a deal they are committed to. Coronadan, to the best of their ability, will honor these deals expressed on the website, email or mobile application. Please report to us if you run into any problems with a local business who is part of Coronadan.

Powers of the membership card – Being a Coronadan will give you a sense of pride in community, but will not make you fly, punch harder, run faster or increase your intelligence. We are working on it, but those types of technological abilities have just not been invented yet.

By choosing to be a Coronadan member, you are accepting the TC stated above.
